Don't call CPS!
In case you happen to see my son...really, we didn't do it. Although that is the typical excuse parents have, in this case it is true. In fact, sister did it. She'll tell you she did. He'll tell you she did it too. So, if you happen to see him anytime soon just know that his first ever black eye was because his sister hit him with a "C" battery straight to the eye and NOT because we are abusing our son in any way. And while this may be the last time she'll give him a black eye (then again, maybe not) something tells me that this won't be his last! In the meantime, though, please don't call CPS on us!

Where's the picture? I know you have one!
Actually I did try to take one, but the lighting hid the black eye where it didn't show up. It's almost gone now, thank goodness! I felt like people kept looking at me like I was a horrible mother.
